February 12th-18th is Random Act of Kindness week. We cannot rely on the good deeds of others to make the world a better place. We need to make our own contribution and strive to live by the golden rule. It states, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Your behavior and actions can affect others around you and there are many ways to show kindness. Use this week to find creative ways to make a difference and to make someone smile.
Here are some ideas for random acts of kindness in the workplace. Pick a number between 1 and 10. Got it?
Now look at that random act of kindness idea and do it!

- Take an interest and learn something new about the team members around you.
- Show your appreciation of a team member through words and a hand-written note.
